Patriot HR, a 2022 Top Place to Work, Concludes its Third Annual Back-to-School Drive, Providing 60

BURTONSVILLE, MD – With schools back in session and Labor Day behind us, leading national HR outsourcing firm Patriot HR Solutions, kicked off its third annual Back-to-School Drive. The school supply drive provided hundreds of youth in pre-kindergarten through fifth grade across the Greater Washington D.C. Metro Area with the critical resources they need to start the new school year strong, amidst the ongoing pandemic.

The Patriot HR Solutions Back-to School Drive ran from August 2 to August 13, 2022. Customers, business partners, community members, and employees of Patriot HR Solutions were encouraged to donate a range of supplies including but not limited to backpacks, pens, pencils, erasers, crayons, highlighters, notebooks, binders, paper, rulers, index cards, markers, headsets, lunch boxes, and more.

During the drive, Patriot HR Solutions raised more than $500 in cash and filled more than 60 backpacks with school supplies. On August 16th, Patriot HR Solutions employees assembled the backpacks in their corporate headquarters and arranged for their distribution to various schools through the Neighbor Network nonprofit organization based in Dayton, Maryland. Employees of Patriot HR Solutions then dropped off hundreds of additional school supplies to Burtonsville Elementary School in Burtonsville, Maryland and Bond Mill Elementary School in Laurel, Maryland.

“We’d like to give a big shout-out to Hearts & Homes for Youth for their partnership in the school drive. They single-handedly donated 90% of the backpacks alone,” Christine Knisley of Patriot HR Solutions said. “In addition, Patriot HR Solutions would like to thank all the valuable Burtonsville community members who made monetary, time, and service contributions. We couldn’t have done this without their generous contributions, commitment to giving back, and desire to help today’s youth. ”
